About Allison Pollard

Moving forward when there is no beaten path has been a theme in Allison’s life and career.

I am a coach, consultant, and trainer who brings the power of relationship systems intelligence to go beyond tasks, roles, and frameworks to create energy for change. I engage with people and teams in a down-to-earth way to build trust and listen for signals to help them learn more and improve. My experience includes working with teams and leaders in energy, retail, financial, real estate, and transportation industries to help improve their project/product delivery and culture. I am co-owner of Helping Improve LLC.

I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and trained in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching. I create alignment and connection for people to solve business problems together.

I am a prolific speaker at professional groups and international conferences, including Scrum Gatherings and the Agile Alliance Agile20xx conferences. Part of my joy from public speaking is the opportunity to co-present with others, whether they are seasoned speakers or new voices.

Engaging in the community has been a way for me to grow personally and professionally. I served in leadership roles for both the DFW Scrum and Dallas Agile Leadership Network user groups, and I continue to engage in the community. My agile community focus is championing new voices and amplifying women as mentors & sponsors for the next generation of leaders. I currently volunteer as program director for Women in Agile's mentorship program.

I earned my bachelor degrees in computer science, mathematics, and English from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. I am also an avid reader, a foodie, and proud glasses wearer.
